Hey there, how are you today? How are you specifically? As I always say, and I've been saying that for 400 episodes now of SMFR The Podcast on SMFRThePodcast.com. I'm so thankful that you all like, subscribe, comment. Keeps me going all the past several years we've been doing these. And again, 400, you know, it's it's that's kind of significant, I think. And the subjects do vary from time to time, but they basically come down to uh living our best life and and treating ourselves well and treating others well, right? So that's the what this podcast is about, particularly. And you know I keep these to five or six minutes, but uh I like to encapsulate uh what we've discussed over the past four years and just keep it brief and just kind of something so that we we know where we've been and where we're going. One of the big topics has always been manifestation. We are what we think we are. That is huge. And I'm just gonna run through a few of these real quick, but I would ask you to please go to smforthepodcast.com and subscribe and just go through these because I'm I actually did that this morning. I went through them and I'm looking at all these music heels, take a break. These some of them go so far back, and they're just the golden rule, stuff like that. So it's kind of neat, it's kind of fun to go back and look at it and see that some of these topics we've um I don't want to say beat them to death, but I try to find a new take on them from time to time. And that involves the the topic of manifestation that we are what we think about all day long, and that is so true. Believe and achieve and all that stuff. That is so important that we do that and we keep that in our minds every day. It's so hard, isn't it? It really, really is. We're having a bad day and then everything just spirals, but we can get out of that death grip, that spiral, by just putting it aside or finishing the task at hand, and then moving on to some the next topic we discuss a lot, which is take a break. Just take a break and just let things go. Ride our bike, go out, go to the gym, go have a beer with friends or a soda or whatever, a tea, whatever you might have, and just get it out of your mind. And when I do that, sometimes people will come up to me and they'll want to talk about things that I really would rather not talk about, and um just stuff. And so you gotta gracefully, which is another topic, giving ourselves some grace. We gotta gracefully get out of that so we can truly enjoy our own company a little bit, which is very, very important. And that's another one, it's g give ourselves some grace. That was a recent topic that I just did on a YouTube short, and thank you for all that. I mean, we've got almost 300 YouTube shorts out there, along with over 100 audio podcasts. I I thank you all for for ever all the support, which many more to come, hopefully. Tomorrow's not promised, but hopefully, right? So anyway, giving ourselves some grace when we screw up, when things don't go right, when we miss a workout or we miss something, uh we can't let that stuff get to us. We just have to put it aside, and as I said in the in the video short on YouTube, I said on the SMF for the podcast YouTube channel, by the way, I said, we can't live in the past. And as again, we know that. And tomorrow's not promised, so let's live in the moment and give ourselves some darn grace so that we can move forward with things, right? Another topic we broach quite often is the golden rule, treating others as we would be treated, and that is so important. And again, my dad taught me that, and he didn't really paraphrase it as the golden rule, but I learned from my from my dad predominantly of treating others as you'd be treated. And I watched him and I saw the respect that he got from others, and um as a policeman and as just a man, and that meant a lot to me, so I I tried to carry some of that with me. It doesn't always work, but we do the best we can, don't we? And I I also cite different people, some celebrities, and then people who aren't such celebrities. Um I I cite Steve Harvey. Remember his journey through living in his car to to family feud and all that stuff? It's it's that's that's out there as well. Matthew McConaughey, his book Green Lights, I reviewed that, or we reviewed that, and it's really good. And also the Stoics, Seneca, they have such a back from the medieval ages, even before that, they had a way of of living life and not worrying about the future or the past, and they just were very calm in what they did, and it worked very well for them, and it's something that we should carry with us while we cherish every day, which is a biggie for me, and I know it is for you as well. We need to cherish every day, my friends. I've had friends, um, acquaintances several over the past six weeks that are no longer with us, and when that stuff happens and you go to a few wakes, it just hits you. It's like, my gosh, you know, it's so easy to say, go, you know, squeeze your significant other tighter, tell your kids you love them. We should be doing that anyway. But it it is so significant that we cherish every day when we wake up. And as Abraham Lincoln said, we can choose to be happy, or we can choose to be a crab ass. Let's choose to be happy. Sometimes we can't, but that's understandable too, but we gotta get back on track. So anyway, that's the point of this. I just summarized some of the things that we did. I would ask you to please go through those podcasts and do subscribe. I don't self-promote here a lot, but I I go look at this stuff and I'm like, geez, Steve, how'd you come up with this stuff? And I don't come up with it again, uh per se. I find things and I share them with you because I'm not a doctor. I am kind of a doctor of love, I have to tell you. Ask my wife. That's a joke, too. I should make a comedy routine out of that. But the point is that we we just have to take every day, give ourselves grace, take a break, and manifest, believe and achieve. That's all I got for now. I don't want to start rambling, but I love all y'all. I thank you so much for listening and watching all the YouTube shorts and all the audio podcasts. I'm so blessed to have you all in my life. Let's keep it going. Steve Reeb signing off just for a little while.
