Ep101: Thankfulness Is A Mindset!
Thankfulness isn't a result of our situation; rather, it's a mindset despite our situation. It's a choice. So rather than look back on our yesterdays with lament let's be thankful for the experience that made us better. In the now let's be thankful for what we're doing and for the opportunity. Most importantly let's be thankful for things in the future as if the outcome has been inn our favor already. A form of manifestation if you will. Anyhoo it works and let's remember this ok? Ok. Hey there, how are you today? Jumping out of that microphone right into your little ear pods or whatever you got on. AirPods. Headphones, car radio. Anyway, thank you for checking out SMFR the podcast. This is episode 101. And um I was looking back on stuff as I've done these over the years, almost, well, close to 400 between the YouTube shorts and the audio podcasts. And I go back on certain subjects, and one of them is thankfulness. And this is something that I don't think we put enough emphasis on in our lives. At least I don't, and I find that when I do, it makes everything better. It it really does. Because uh thankfulness is is not a result of our situation, it's a mindset despite our situation, right? We may not be in a great place, but by being thankful and and making that choice, um, it's kind of when you look back on things and you're thankful for them, even mistakes that we've made, rather than dwell on them and go, oh man, crap, I shouldn't have done that. Let's be thankful that that experience made us better in in that situation for the next time, right? And same with in the now. Let's be thankful for what we have right now. And it kind of sounds polyannish or whatever, you know, hokey pokey. Not really. It because when we're thankful, we don't have time to be complaining, right? We're being thankful, we're being grateful to God, to the universe, whatever your choice is, you know, and whatever however you want to put it. I'm a God guy, so I choose to do that. I'm I thank you, God. Thank you for all that I have. Thank you for what I'm going to have. And that's a big one too. Because if we're thankful for things in the future, whatever it might be, a project, a vacation, a family event, anything, whatever, everything actually. And when we're thankful, basically we're manifesting that, aren't we? Because once we start thinking it's gonna happen, th once we start thinking it happened, it's it's gonna happen that way. You know, it it we look within ourselves and we see the good instead of focusing on what's wrong or what could go wrong. Dreams become possible. Right? When we do that, it's not dreaming, it's manifesting. And our life becomes more meaningful as we are thankful. So let's remember that, okay? It's so important that we do these sort of things. And if you would like and subscribe, I'm I'm asking you please to go out and do that now if you haven't, because that's a big deal. It helps the algorithm, it helps get this out there. Same with the YouTube shorts. Go back on those, and if you would just like a few once in a while. I'd be so thankful for that. And so so would the algorithm. And again, like I always say, I'm not making any money off this. I just like doing it. And I like these reminders for you and for me. And they they really do help, don't they? So my point again is I try to keep these. This is a short one, but I I get it out there, I don't blabber on, I try not to make my point. If it makes if it you know resonates with you, fantastic. If not, go back and look on some of the other stuff. So but let's remember, don't wait for things to change before we become thankful. Let's begin with being thankful and watch things begin to change. It's so important. It makes all the sense in the world, doesn't it? Alrighty, short and sweet, here we go. I love y'all. We'll do one again soon, and make sure you do check out the um the uh YouTube charts on the SMFR, the podcast YouTube channel. Love all y'all and take care. Steve Reeb signing out.
